Looking for a summer job 13-year-old George Drake responds to a help wanted ad for Wormestall farm, but the undertaking thrust upon him goes far beyond the scope of “feeding the duckies,” as George and his new friend Prudence embark on a dangerous race to save the planet.
No ordinary farm, Wormestall is inhabited by extinct and mythological creatures and George and Prudence are soon enlisted by the farm’s caretakers, the mysterious Mrs. Lind and Lo, to reintroduce these creatures into the wild before Diamond Pye can hatch her evil plan to destroy Wormestall and make all animals extinct!
